Admission
DEADLINES:
#1st of May, (for students from outside EU)
#21st of July (for EU and Turkey students and students who do not need visa to enter Estonia)
#21st of August (for Finnish students). Finnish students who apply for Master of Materials and Processes of Sustainable Energetics - 1st of August.
Different national education systems have different standards. Therefore it is always recommended to check with the International Study Center regarding the requirement for your country.
Bachelor level applicants are required to have completed their secondary education and possess university eligibility. Also, applicants must meet the minimum grade point average requirement.
Master level applicants are required to have achieved a Bachelor's degree. Master degree applicants (except applicants from EU, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and from former USSR countries) are required to present their secondary school documents as well.
PhD applicants are required to choose the topic of the research as well as to agree with the Supervisor. Please find more information and the admission process for PhD studies

* non-native English speakers are requested to present a copy of TOEFL/IELTS score report. The score of TOEFL test should not be less than 500 (173 computer based, 61 iBT). Requested IELTS score: 5,0 and above

Scholarships
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR TUT INTERNATIONAL DEGREE PROGRAMMES
Tallinn University of Technology provides opportunities to the international students to study without paying the tuition fees. All PhD students can study free of tuition fees at TUT and receive additional support from the University and Estonian Ministry of Education. Additionally, each year a limited number of tuition scholarships providing exemption from tuition fee will be available to international students for the following Master degree programmes:

Scholarships for Tallinn Tech Students
Once you are enrolled at Tallinn Tech student and your academic excellence is demonstrated in your transcripts you also have a possibility to compete for a scholarships to cover your living expenses. Each year there are around 80 scholarships awarded to Tallinn Tech students in the amount of around 110 000 EUR. Most scholarships are offered by the University donors - successful enterprises. Frequently these same enterprises offer additional opportunities such as thesis writing within the company, internships and even employment.
