Admission for engineering
Submitted by Jenni on 09/06/2009 - 11:29 AM
Admissions to engineering programs are competitive; there are more applicants than spaces, so the better your grades are the better your chances of admittance. Generally, good to excellent grades are required. Usually, grades of 80% or more in math and sciences are needed for admission. For fulfilling your aim to be an engineer, take the maths, physics, chemistry, biology group after finishing 10th standard. Be sure to study hard and score the best marks in those subjects and also do well in your entrance exams like (AIEEE, IIT JEE, TNEA, BIT SAT) which will help you to get admission in the best colleges during counseling.

Admission to Engineering colleges is quite tough.  Quality engineering colleges are quite tough to get into, especially with the competition too high. You should prepare well, take the help of coaching institutes if necessary, for this could be a very critical decision that could make a difference in the colleges you are trying to get admission into and colleges you might get in case you do not get a good rank.

Indian Engineering Services requires lots of hard work and dedication.. To take admissions in various colleges of engineering one requires to crack All India Level Exam known as GATE.. The competition in the exam is fierce and only few seats are available for it.. Other Exams for which the students can prepare may be PSU Exams, IES, ESE and others...
