	Amrita College of Nursing is the first College of Nursing in the private sector in Kerala, that has obtained sanction from the Indian Nursing Council to start the MSc Nursing Programme with an intake of 20 students in four specialties (Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing). This programme is expected to commence soon. The BSc Nursing Programme is a four-year degree programme with one-year compulsory internship. The annual intake is 50 students. After learning the basic concepts and procedures in patient care through practice in the pre-clinical laboratory, in the preceding years the nursing students are given an extensive exposure in following areas: * MEDICAL SURGICAL NURSING * COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING * CHILD HEALTH NURSING * MENTAL HEALTH NURSING * OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGIC NURSING * NURSING EDUCATION AND ADMINISTRATION The admission are open, so rush yourself to be a part in on of the best college of nursing.
