Short Term Vocational Certificate Courses for 3 months, 6 months and One year duration are being introduced in the disciplines of
    Agriculture,
    Engineering & Technology,
    Computer Science,
    Business & Commerce,
    Home Science and Humanities.
 
These Short Term Courses are provided with the objective of giving training to SSLC failed/passed students or candidates who are interested in acquiring job oriented skills and wish to join the world of work, to enable them to earn their livelihood.

SHORT TERM INTERIOR DESIGN - 3 Months - 1 Year Duration
Fashion & Textile Design Courses - 3 Months - 2 year Duration
SHORT TERM JEWELLERY DESIGN - 3 Months - 1 Year Duration

Hi Shankar,
There are lot of short term courses available in the engineering category. Mostly ITI courses are taken by students after finishing 10th or 12th, who don't opt to take higher studies in college.

Courses Categorization :
ITI courses are conducted by private as well as government institutions. ITI courses can be more categorized as Non Engineering as well as Engineering courses. The types of ITI short term courses and their periods are as given below:

        1. 6 month ITI course: Data Preparation Assistant, Short term Computer Courses.
        2. One year ITI course: Welder, Letter Press Machine Operator, Scooter Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic.
        3. Two year ITI course: Plastic Processing Operator, Electrician, Turner, Motor-vehicle Mechanic, Machinist (Grinder), Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Refrigerator and Air Condition Mechanic.
