What is MAT exam?

  • MAT is usually conducted 4 times in a year in January, May, September and December.
  • The minimum qualifications for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree.
  • A final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc) can also appear provisionally.
  • Usually, there is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation which is different for different Management Institutions/Universities.

 MAT is one of the many entrance exams for MBA that a candidate may choose to clear. The MAT score maybe considered among PGDM eligibility for top colleges like the ITM Institute. Institute websites have clear details about eligibility and fee structure. It is best to read through them and know better.

How many Management Institutes participate in MAT?

Does all the management institutes participate in the MAT Exam? If so, their admission criteria will be the same or it changes? What about the hostel and their fees structure available in those management institutes?

  • The number Management Institutes participating in the MAT exam may vary.
  • The number of Management Institution keeps on changing from test to test.
  • Admission criteria for every institute is different.
  • All MIs participating in MAT are either AICTE approved or affiliated to some Universities, for further information you may contact the Management Institutions/Universities of your choice or Click here
