What is the eligibility for IIT-JEE exam?

Hi friends, I wish to take up IIT-JEE entrance exam in the coming year, tell me what is the eligibility for taking up the exam?

Eligibility criteria:

* The candidate applying for JEE 2009 must be either passed in 2008 qualifying examinations of should be appearing in the 2009 qualifying examination. For the list of qualifying examinations and alternative qualifying examinations please refer the respective IIT sites.

* The candidate can only give the JEE two times that too in two consecutive years.

* Any candidate who has accepted admission in any of, IT-BHU, Dhanbad, Varanasi and ISMU is not liable to sit in the IIT-JEE examination.

* The candidates will only be accepted only if they are considered physically fit for the course they want to pursue.
