NEET Eligibility criteria

 CBSE sets eligibility criteria for those students who appear for the NEET Exam. Before filling the application form you need to check the eligibility criteria for NEET 2018. Candidate must check the eligibility criteria which is mentioned below:
  1.  A candidate can attempt 3 times only.
  2. Candidate must be Indian citizen only.
  3. NRI's, OCI's ,PIO's and  Foreign Nationals are also eligible.
  4. Candidate's minimum age is 17 years till 31 December 2018 .
  5. Candidate's maximum age will be 25 years on date of examination.
  6. Candidate's passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and Mathematics with English  as elective subject.
  7. Appearing student's can also apply.
  8. A candidate must secure 50%for general category and 40% for reserved category,

As per the guidelines mentioned in the official site of
NEET. The exam covers topics mostly similar to the CBE guidelines. Accordingly, to
CBSE guidelines, only NCERT books are to be referred. It is highly recommended
that while preparing for the NEET exam, make sure to thoroughly review the
latest editions of the 11th & 12th NCERT books, which
are easily available.



Eligibility Criteria: - 12th pass with
Physics, Chemistry & Biology from any board with 50% marks. Age between
17-25. The maximum attempt for NEET is fixed to three.
